The infusion fluid flow warmer is an alternative to devices that often use expensive consumables. The device consists of a central unit and a profile in which a transfusion set is placed.
The warming profile, made of plastic, is designed for active warming of standard drains with diameters of 4-5 or 6-7 mm.
The device allows to warm infusion fluids and blood at temperatures from 33 to 43°C, which thanks to built-in temperature sensors is fully controlled and safe.
The dry warming process is safe from an epidemiological point of view, because no liquid is in direct contact with the device or warming profile.
