The Astopad patient heating system is a modern solution that uses carbon fibre technology, which is also an economic and effective method of preventing hypothermia. The device has the possibility to use two independent heating accessories (mattresses, blankets).

The temperature of the heat exchange elements is controlled by a controller in the range from 32 to 39°C with a 0.5°C increment. The optional battery allows the unit to be operated without a power supply for up to one hour. All heat exchangers have built-in sensors to monitor the temperature.

The use of carbon fibers makes the covers transparent to X-rays, which improves the work of the staff.

With a wide range of accessories, the Astopad device is ideal for all applications where warming is required: operating theatres, intensive care units, hospital emergency departments and neonatal wards.

The possibility of using reusable coverings for mattresses is money-saving and allows for continuous work without the need to disinfect the mattresses. Covers can be washed at temperatures up to 95°C and disinfected.

It is possible to adjust the size of the mattress to the operating table, so that this warm transfer element can be used on all types of tables.
