Warm and humidity exchanger, so-called artificial nose

Warm and moisture exchanger, the so-called artificial nose – designed for use in patients with tracheostomy, has both a port for suction and an oxygen port. It is characterized by very low weight (5g), which in no way adversely affects the load on the tracheostomy tube in patients. Artificial nose is characterized by a humidifying efficiency of 13.2 mg/l at VT=500ml, dead space of 17 ml – it is available in a biologically clean version.
